I'm going on a two-month tour of Europe beginning October 1.
But before that happens, I'll be doing a three-week road trip from Western Washington to Miami, with my buddy Chris. The plan is to drive down the West Coast to San Diego and then hang a left. We'll stop at a few places along the way, taking our time getting to the final destination.
In Miami, I'll hop on a plane to London. After that, things are still kind of nebulous. I'd like to see some friends in the UK and Ireland, then head south for better weather around the Mediterranean for the remainder of my time in Europe.
I'll update this blog from time to time with tidbits about my travels during the next few months. There aren't any specific projects going on during these trips, but with the new sights, people and experiences we'll encounter, I'm sure I'll have plenty to write about.
My last day of work is September 2. After that, I'll have some additional updates here.
